LiSEC at Glastec 2016 in Düsseldorf

From 20th to 23rd of September, 2016, LiSEC presents its technology concept for quadruple IG-unit with Integrated Photovoltaic at the „glasstec 2016“, the world's largest trade fair for the glass industry and its suppliers, in Düsseldorf, Germany.

A highlight of the special show „Glass Technology Live (gtl)“ is the quadruple IG-unit with Integrated Photovoltaic.


This quadruple IG-unit with thin glass membranes is dedicated as a frameless openable window for direct applications in façades. Ug-values of only 0.3 W/m²K are achieved as well as a weight reduction of up to 50 %.


Integrated Photovoltaic is harvesting energy and is used to switch the functional layers as a shading system. The LiSEC vacuum lamination technology with a diffusion tight edge sealing protects the functional layers against moisture and environmental influences for a long term stability.

 

Already  on  the  day  before  the glasstec  2016 the  experts  from  the  glass  industry gathered at two-day conference Function meets glass.
